I am the true definition of suffering
Not because I have never bought
And or wore in my entirety,
A new shoe and a new shirt
Nor because I can hardly afford
A three -square meals in a day
Not because I am sleepless at night
And restless during the day
Nor because I lack true friends
Who really deserve the accolade
Not because I work the hardest
And yet get paid the less
Nor because my great efforts
Seem to be denied the reckons
Not because I was born into suffering
And will probably die suffering
Nor because I enjoy suffering so much
So that I'll love to dine suffering
I am the true definition of suffering
Because I am a true sufferer

Sufferer
In Search of Perfection
When I search for perfection,
I don't look at the outside
Because looks can be illusive
No matter how impressive
They may appear to the eye
I am convinced, yes I'm that
Perfection comes from the inside
From deep deep within
Where the naked eyes can't see
And only the heart can feel
Can't trust everything I see
Because my eyes aren't so sure
Can't trust everything I hear
Because my ears aren't so sure
But what my heart feel within,
I am sure comes from within
And such alone is what I trust
What I truly trust at last
Let your perfection rain from within
Let it flow down the drain
And let it speak but from within
Not The Best
I am not the best among the rest
I just try to do my best
I am not a hero, not a
Role model to those I know, I am
Just a human, a new man
I belong not to this world,
Not to the past or the future
I am just a passerby
Not a descendant, of any race
I belong to no family tree
And I have no past to tell
I am today and that's what
I will be till it becomes my last
Until I breath my last,
I am nothing more than me
Just a human like any other
Not sure of what tomorrow means
And hope not in what it brings
So live today like it's all you've got
Because it is...

Be Strong
Search for the reasons
That keep the world round
Not in books
Not in magazines
But deep inside you
Listen to the other you
The other you burning hot
Is the reflection of the real you
Keep strong however may
And keep the world going round
Being strong is being you
Being you is being real
Being real is being true to yourself
So in whatever you do
Remember to be you

DO EVERYTHING TWICE BETTER THAN BEFORE TODAY
Before you tell me about my past,
Know that I have long left it behind
I have left it behind not to be forgotten
And not for it to be rotten
I have left it behind not because I'm scared
Or because it means nothing to me
But I have left it behind to rest
To belong where it belongs
I have left it behind to be past, gone
And so to not dictate my future
But before you tell me about the future,
Please know that no one has yet been a future(r)
Know that it's the only thing I've hope for
And trust me, it's what I'm never certain of
I am not certain not because it is so bleak
Or because I am myself lost in its core,
But I am uncertain to be certain
That whatever may, the best soon comes
Yes brethren, I am uncertain to be certain
That the future is very uncertain
So while you still have today,
Please live your life like the last it may,
Do everything twice better than before
Today is the best time to live your call
Today is the best day you can afford
Not because yesterday is become a past
Or because tomorrow may never come
But it's the best because it is
For real brother, yesterday is gone
And oh, tomorrow just may never come
Author Notes
Motivated and inspired by a gesture from a friend, Livingston. He demonstrated a believe in me and it feels real rewarding to know someone is listening. The piece started without title but ended up something I going to cherish for times to come if they indeed does come.

CHANGE...
CHANGE
You can watch the video here
https://youtu.be/SCM2s7Tfb9o
Change,
Change is not always desirable
Not even for the radicals
Sorry but she's not always acceptable
Even though some say she should be periodical
I will accept change but only on one condition
That she will be true to my predictions
I refuse the change that will be detrimental
To my emotions and hence, in-parental
Change can be bitter, to our preservatives
Because to the status quo, she is derogative
She is quiet not always affordable to the masses
Because she tends to always favor the classes
In more ways than one, change is for the better
Because she is for the good of our old goods
But she does becomes pain in the ass
When she loses her free pass
It's good trying to change a thing
But only if she's for the good of all
And only if she'll be really sustainable
Along with the good she brings
Don't just try to change me
Because I am not exactly what you desire
Just accept and hope I change me
You may never understand what I inspire
Change is perceptive, subjective and receptive
To the touch of one and only one
She is impulsive, illusive and yet impressive
To the unsuspecting; the ignorant
Be in charge when comes a change
So you can propel her to your advantage
Be sure before you bill for that change
So when she comes, she'd be your vintage
If a change in attitudes of the multitude
Will lead to positive plus
Change in the crops in the altitudes
Such change should start with the clauses
THE STREET BOY
You equate the street boy to a criminal
Because of whatever reason in your mind
But if you lie in his position for a minute,
You will realize he actually deserves a salute
Have you ever wondered how he feeds?
How he manages to make his odd ends meet?
Days upon days through months into years,
He's been strong, surviving and killing fears
He does all kinds of jobs you won't allow your children to do
He does them not because he enjoys doing them
But because he's got no other choice
That can keep him dreaming for the best
You call him names you do not understand
You make him your object of mockery
And you even despise him for your egos
Oh, I am sorry, but I am not the least surprised
Like a lawyer, I stand before the jury today
And accuse the rich of being helpless to the society
If I am allowed to proceed with my case,
Then I have the following to say on the street boy's behalf
He's not the rebel you should fear
He is the less fortunate begging for your grace
He's not the object you should mock
He is the brave soul you should emulate
He thrives on the hopes lost by many
But he never complains for his unfair share
I call to the stand, the public media
And accuse him of spewing too many lies
